STX Axxis Head Gear Review

As part of the 2018 James Madison University NCAA Championship squad, midfielder Haley Warden played a significant role in leading her team to glory.

One of the most critical skills Warden brought to the table? Her ability to win draw control and possession for her team. She set the JMU and CAA single-season record for draw controls in her senior season. Her versatility as a midfielder also proved invaluable and led to her recognition for Most Outstanding Performance in the championship game.

As Warden begins her pro career, we teamed up to design a stick that would support her incredible skill and strength as a midfielder and faceoff force. After playing her first game with the new STX Axxis Head—and staying with it throughout the game instead of switching sticks like most faceoff players after the draw—Warden sat down to share all her thoughts, unfiltered.
