#USAvsGB Scrimmage Recap

Team USA made a pit stop on the road to Rio for a test match-up with Great Britain. The four-game series was full of field hockey, intense rivalry and PINK!

STX athletes Kelsey Kolojejchick, Ali McEvoy, Katie O'Donnell and Jill Witmer honored Breast Cancer Awareness month with a #pinkout game against Great Britain. #UN1TED to find a cure. 

 

Katie O’Donnell competed with the Stallion 700 during the series in Marlow, England. The first match ended in a 2-2 draw. 

 

Great Britain topped the U.S. Women’s team in the second test series match. 

 

The third test match of the Team USA against Great Britain resulted in a 2-2 tie.

 

In the fourth match-up, Jill Witmer opened up the game with a goal from a tip off the corner. She scored the only goal during the first half, taking Team USA into the second half with a 1-0 lead.
